Kitsuné Maison Compilation 4 keeps my attention span better than my a.d.d medicine. With soooo many new groups out on Myspace, or sooo many new electro/indie/club/techno/cool/not cool groups to listen too. Kitsune gives you probably one of the best selections of new artist and remixes alike. I expect you to purchase this compilation and listen to it as loud as possible. Go ahead and piss off your neighbors, coworkers, and friends. Make sure they know that what you are playing will probably save there musical taste. I will gauruntee after this being the 4th complilation there will be many more to follow. Kitsune has been the tastemaker of France. Given most of the artist are from all ends of the globe. This label started by Masaya Kuroki, Patrick Lacey, Gildas Loaec, Benjamin Reichen, Kajsa Stahl and Maki Suzuki.
What I really like about Kistune is they are more of a design house than record label. Considering they have a store in France (open by appointment only) and design a clothing line carried worldwide by Barneys NY,colette Paris, Isetan Tokyo,Dover Street Market London and more just to name a few.
Klaxons,Wolfmother,Digitalism, Captain Comatose, Black Strobe, Manhead, Freeform five, Zongamin, Cosmo Vitelli ,Gonzales,Man with Guitar,Tom Vek, VHS or Beta,Volga Select,Simian Mobile Disco,Chikinki,Joakim, and Hot Chip have all been featured on previous compilations. Kitsune continues to make cool before cool, or maybe the beast before the hype?
